Better than the MLB/NBA/NHL rewarding half-seasons (sometimes less) of quality play.

I don't know, but it's a fricking joke that Devin McCourty didn't make it.
Logan Mankins didn't deserve the nod, but McCourty is probably the second best safety in the league.
