Giants, Jets, Knicks, Nets, Yankees, Mets, and Rangers all suck.

Also consider the other teams in the state: Throw in the Bills, Sabres, and Islanders too. Lot of suck.

Yankees don't "suck" but the other teams sure do, and it has probably been a long time.

Yeah, Yanks "sucking" was a bit of a reach. But for their standards, they do. Especially if you consider how terrible their starting rotation is.

We had this discussion in my office just a few days ago. It looks like no NY team will be in any playoffs this year and I love it.

doesn't mean they don't suck, since they are in the Eastern Conference

Will ESPN just shut down when the NFL playoffs start?

Where will I be able to get that insider info on what it takes to be a champion from 15 former players like Tim hassle back, mark Brunel, Tom Jackson, cris carter etc etc with their total of zero SB rings?

IDK man.. As of right now they are tied with the Knicks for the 11th seed (2 1/2 games back) and aren't getting any better.

Carmello keeps getting hurt and the Nets are falling apart more and more each day. It is really starting to look like Jason Kidd is going to have a short coaching career.

NYC Metro Area has nine teams. Yankees Mets Giants Jets Knicks Nets Rangers Islanders Devils. None of them are meeting franchise or fan expectations.

The Red Bulls won the MLS regular season title and made the playoffs, but were eliminated by Houston. So at least there was that.

Yankees don't suck. They won 85 games last season despite being riddled with injuries for the entire year. Imagine the Saints going 9-7 without Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, Marques Colston and Darren Sproles. That's basically what the Yankees did in 2013.

Or it's just a prime example of how the Yankees have saddled themselves with aging players with bad contracts. They were able to play the majority of the season without A-Rod, Jeter, and Texeria, and still win 85 games.

No, but they're not going anywhere without frontline starting pitching.
