Son got a Wii U for Christmas. Appears that I can go through System Preferences and connect to myWi-Fi, but when I go to open Netflix or YouTube it states that I need to connect to the Internet. Anybody have this problem? And do you have a solution?

TIA

I think, because I when I go through the setup it says the connection was successful. But when I go back to the home screen on the control panel and try to open Netflix it says I need an internet connection.

I am having connection problems with my Wii U today as well.

Does your Mii in the corner have a orange or blue background to it?

LIke others have said Nintendo's servers are experiencing some problems.

I had issues with both my Wii U and 3DS yesterday when I was trying to link my Nintendo Network ID.
