I won the my league last night for the second time in three years. I was 2-4 at one point, but won 9 straight to grab the title. I had 29 add-drops during the year and I started 34 different players during the season. I even owned 5 different Cleveland Browns players thought the year, but I still won.

I won my league through a solid draft and the waiver wire. In a 12-team standard scoring league, with 6 points per passing TD, I had the 12th pick in a snake draft. Everyone chuckled when I went Megatron/Green with 12 and 13, and they thought I was crazy when I took Luck/Gronk in the 3rd and 4th. Picked up Lacy in the 5th and reached on Josh Gordon in the 7th and the 49ers DST in the 8th. Grabbed Andre Brown in the 9th and Greg Olsen in the 10th.

I struggled to find a RB during the regular season while Brown was out and Lacy had concussion problems. At different points during the season I started Daryl Richardson, Isaac Redman, Jason Snelling, Rashad Jennings, Joseph Randle, Willis McGahee, Peyton Hillis, and Donald Brown. I picked up Vereen n waivers in week 7 and patiently waited for him to return.

At the WR spot, I was grabbed Harry Douglas the moment Julio went down, and picked up Boykin down the road as well. Both played huge roles during the bye weeks for my big three.

I thought I had the championship in the bag once Gronk came back, but I was able to hold on with Delanie Walker to finish off the playoffs.

I definitely whiffed on some players as well. I picked up the Chiefs DST for week 1, but didn't start them and they had 34 points. I thought it was a fluke so I dropped them. I also had to drop Rashad Jennings, Greg Olsen, the Panthers DST, and Donald Brown before they blew up towards the end of the season. Perhaps my most grievous miss was picking up Foles the week of the Dallas game and then dropping him immediately after the concussion. Despite the misses, I still won.

Ranked by weekly scoring average, I had the #1, #2, and #5 WRs in Gordon, Johnson, and Green. Ended up with the #10 QB in Luck and the #9 RB in Lacy. Also had the #19 and #20 RBs in Vereen and Andre Brown. Gronk finished as the #2 TE in weekly scoring. Hauschka ended as the #5 kicker and the 49ers were the #4 DST (I owned the #1 and #3 DSTs at times).

All in all, it was probably the most active and intensive season I've had but I'm damn proud of it. How did the season go for rest of the league champs on the board?

TEAM 2: First 2 picks were Foster and Rodgers. Also drafted Gronk. Managed to Finish season with most points and won the title too.

Pretty typical year for me(2 championships out of 3 leagues), There's a good chance I'll be with a major website next year writing articles, giving projections, etc. I'll be sure to keep you all in the loop.

After week 3 or 4, I traded the lawfirm, hankerson, and Dalton for Jamal Charles. Guy had GB so he had the 1-2 punch and his qb sucked at the time and Dalton had AJ to throw to so he could put up big #'s. And hankerson had that one big game which showed potential. That's how I sold it two him.

I finished the regular season 7-6 with the fifth seed in a 14 team standard scoring league.
My starters for the championship week:
Big Ben
Blount
Lynch
Colston
Desean Jackson
Graham
Boldin at Flex
Tucker
Arizona D

I made a very unlikely run in the playoffs facing Peyton Manning, Brady and Brees in the three rounds of the playoffs. The talent gets a little thin when a starter goes down in a 14 team league.
Blount was a late addition, after Ogbonnaya and Baker were picked up to replace McFadden.

Championship team:

Dalton
Lynch
Stacy
Todman
Green
Delanie Walker
Novak
Panthers D
I survived the Todman move to win 117-116. I figured Todman would get a few points but he got me zero. But Dalton & Green came through big time against Manning.
