FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so we have now established that making plays when it is all on the line = "clutch".

What happens if a player makes the clutch play one game and then doesn't the next? What is he labeled? Is it only clutch if it is in the playoffs? In the super bowl??

These discussions are so ridiculous.

Hell Lebron was labeled the most anti-clutch player for the longest time... now 2 rings later...

I think Tiger is "clutch". But to play devils advocate what about letting a little Korean who was half the player he was come from behind with three holes left to beat him?

This has been my whole point. Romo has undoubtedly made huge plays to win games. So he has to be clutch in their opinion

The only thing that Romo clutches is his a-hole when the word "must-win" or "playoff game" appears near his name.

Hey man I'm on your side here. I think the "clutch" thing is overplayed. Look at Bret Favre. He won a Super Bowl, but how many times did he lose on an int? Is he clutch.

That said, I do thing some have a tendency to play well in big games and others don't.

I agree. But i think if you look at it closely, usually the better players play the best in those situations. Simply because they are the best

Romo has done that. FACT!!!!!!!!!!!

In a playoff game???? Yeah.. When it matters most??? NOPE. Brady drove his team down the Field against the Rams for his 1st sb win.. CLUTCH.. He did it against the Pats for his 2nd SB win...CLUTCH.. Elway drove his team down the field 98 yards [on the road] to take his team to the SB.. Montana drove his team 89 yards with 2 mins left to WIN a SB.CLUTCH. When has Romo done anything like this on a stage that big?????

What about the times that Brady failed to win a super bowl? Do those anti clutch moments cancel out his clutch moments??

I agree, but as an Eagles fan I can tell you that Donovan McNabb was NOT clutch. He always played bad in the NFC Championship games, and he literally choked and threw up in the super bowl

Well crap, I guess Bart Starr and Drew Brees arent clutch. How unclutch of them to get up early in their superbowls and not allow themselves to have a game winning drive. And Jim Kelly isnt clutch because after he setup his team for the field goal his kicker missed. Brady was so much more clutch because he gave Vinateri that awesome clutch leg massage before the game

NOBODY is clutch ALL the Time..... I have never said Romo didn't have a moment or two where he preformed at a high level.. Its just that he FAILS way more than not....

Would rather have:

Manning
Brees
Rodgers
Brady
Wilson
Luck
Roethlisberger
Rivers
Kaepernick (age)
Newton

He is #11 followed closely by Cutler and Foles

I just think the clutch thing is stupid. Tom Brady is a better qb than Romo, period. Do we really need to argue something that isn't tangible like "clutchness"? Both have been clutch and both have shite the bed in plenty of circumstances. This entire argument also ignores how the team got to the position where they needed a clutch moment out of there QB.
