This game is optimizing what I thought about Evans. Trade Gordon for a something beneficial to this team and start Evans at PG and Holiday at SG. Evans attacks the rim and can open it up for shooters on the outside.

I figured we would do that eventually but Gordons trade value is up and we have two ballers in the front court after we trade him!

The team looked very smooth with the big 2 guards. Remember though, this is the kings. They have some of the worst guard play in the nba.

i wouldn't mind swapping Reke and EG roles, and decreasing gordons minutes

Eh, it's going to happen eventually. Gordon has value. This team clearly doesn't need him. They'll deal him to fill out some missing pieces at either center or small forward.

We need to see more Anjica first, but it looks like he might be our 4th big of the future. Unless they are planning to move Ryno eventually, you spend your extra money at SF, not center. AD and Ryno will get about 65-70 of the 96 PF/C minutes, Smith should get 15-20, leaving about 5-15 for another big.

No Trade Ryno = No Money/Minutes for Starter Quality Big

It's Math.

I will say that if you got a good and versatile enough big that made Smith expendable I could see going to a 3 big rotation, but considering the hole at SF, I just don't think center is going to be their focus with Anjica and Withey having the potential to be capable 4th bigs.

evans dominates the ball and this is a really good thing for our 2nd unit. his scoring/creating game is perfect for a bench spark plug and game finisher. i get that gordon is our biggest possible trade piece, but evans has a lot of value in the 2nd unit

Right. And when Gordon went out last night Roberts got his minutes. Evans role is perfect for him currently.
