Unless we get a shooter at the 3, I'd rather start Morrow at the 2 over Tyreke.

Exactly, his role right now suits him well. Him and Anderson should be able to feed off of each others game, whether it's with the 2nd unit or with the finishing 5.

Gordon experiment has gotten too old.
Dell needs to deal with the situation.

I bet everyone will love this trade until they realize that Rivers starts getting minutes again.

Morrow is worthless until he realizes that he should only shoot 3s

I agree. I don't think I've ever seen him make a shot that wasn't a 3, but I do think he would fit with the starting unit better than Tyreke.

This thread is so full of original thought. It must be what discovering the wheel was like.

Rivers is beyond young. Would have been a junior at Duke this year.
Let's not give up on him like some of the prior young players we just walked away from.

Rivers hasn't had anywhere near enough consistent playing time for me to throw him under the bus just yet.

He's actually been pretty solid all around. A much better player than I originally thought when we signed him.

Trade Gordon Smith and AFA for Demarcus Cousins and have the Kentucky twin towers after all so it would be Holiday at point tyresus at 2, find someone at 3 and then AD and DC as big men

Yeah seeing as the Kings head coach just complained about how shitty they are I doubt they are going to trade Cousins for that package.

I don't understand all the hate for Gordon on this board, unless it's strictly based on his contract. Which in that case makes him extremely difficult to trade. But bottom line is he's one of only 4 or 5 guys on this team that are legit NBA starter caliber. Why would we be so quick to trade one of the few legit talents that we have? I don't get it.

Gordon is overpaid. He's a decent sg with an unfavorable attitude towards this team's future.

Fans want to win, they want championship(s). I think the general consensus is that EG simply doesn't have what it takes to lead us there. That's where the "hatred" stems from.

I just want value at this point.

You need talent to win. And EG is very talented.

Gordon WAS talented. He is not the same player he was before.
From observation:
His conditioning is at a career low.
His bones are obviously not healed near 100% because he buckles about once every game.

*Gordon is an above average scorer, average ball-handler, average shooter, average talent, average size, average speed, average rebounder, below average defender, below average clutch-scorer, below average intangibles.
Yet he is paid wayyyyyy above average.

*Relative to NBA starting sgs.

EG needs to be more dominant with his current contract. He has been a solid contributor though and I have felt he has not gotten the calls I think he should get for how well he gets to the basket.

When is the last time you watched Gordon and just said "wow"?

I was thoroughly impressed by his 25 point performance against Memphis a week ago, which is sad since he's paid like a player who averages 25+.

That's what the highest paid ballers in the league do on a consistent basis, EG does it occasionally and us Pels fans are overwhelmed with joy from it.
