Many years ago, My go to Chinese restaurant in Jackson (Five Happiness) had a very traumatic day, when one cook in the place killed another cook in the place with a meat cleaver.

I always wondered if the Chinese food at Parchman Prison got really better after they sent him up there because their sesame chicken was really good.

Was just telling my wife a couple of weeks ago how we needed to give this place a try.

So much for that.

La Tiendita or El Limon

Its authentic though, not tex mex (not sure what La Mexicana was but the picture makes me think authentic)

I'll have to try around again. I don't do tex-mex. La Mexicana was the real deal for sure. It's also very close to my work, although I never really utilize it for lunch.

I saw this and thought of you and your AP-centric restaurants

ETA: Have you baptized the new Roma yet?

Not yet. I thought I'd hit it this weekend, but it didn't line up. I'm sure we'll be there before the new year.

Yeah, La Tiendita and El Limon are legit, my wife (no pics) is from Juarez and she likes them, but they are out of your way if in Gonzalez, but worth a shot if out this way.

El Limon is off Jones Creek and Tiendita is off Old Hammond and one of Seigen.
