4 teams, 1 spot, none control their fate.

quote:

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Miami can clinch a playoff berth with:

1) MIA win + BAL loss or tie

2) MIA win + SD win

3) MIA tie + BAL loss + SD loss or tie

4) MIA tie + BAL tie + SD tie

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Baltimore can clinch a playoff berth with:

1) BAL win + SD loss or tie

2) BAL win + MIA loss or tie

3) BAL tie + MIA loss + SD loss or tie

4) BAL tie + MIA tie + SD loss

5) MIA loss + SD loss + PIT loss or tie

SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

San Diego can clinch a playoff berth with:

1) SD win + MIA loss or tie + BAL loss or tie

2) SD tie + MIA loss + BAL loss

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Pittsburgh can clinch a playoff berth with:

1) PIT win + MIA loss + BAL loss + SD loss

I'm going Dolphins because I don't think the chips fall the Steelers way for 2 straight weeks.

Although, out of the 4, I think the Steelers would have the best shot to pull a road upset in the Wildcard Round.

I'm just happy to see Miami and San Diego in the hunt. Honestly, I'd be happy with Miami, Pitt, or SD. I don't want Baltimore to get it. They are boring.

OK I admit I failed arithmetic at LSU, but how is this possible? Doesn't one team have the tiebreaker?

I find it pretty funny that none of the teams is in a "win you're in" situation

I thought so too but I just went back and looked at it on the ESPN playoff machine and it's a damn mess. I thought the Dolphins only needed to win and they were in, but they also need the chargers to win or the ravens to lose. But Miami has the best chance I think.

Very possible. The Bengals have nothing to play for.... They may sit quite a few major players....

If the bengals win and patriots lose, they get the 2 seed

Gotta play the game to win, Peej. Buffalo can pull out a win. It's possible. NE can't stop the run, and Buffalo runs the ball really well. Also, Buffalo has a pretty good pass defense. You never know.

Show me all the times the Pats have lost a division clinching/seeding clinching game during the BB era, especially at home (7-0) this season

Even mikey knows where this is headed
