The first two days after he devised his plan to steal a vehicle from General Motors, he should have had enough shite to build his car in a matter of months. Instead it took him like 25 years. I don't get it.

Since those items came up missing after the first few days.... security really cracked down, hence his cautious approach afterwards...

Without being in his buddy's mo-bil home I can't say for sure. But I bet it was a complete engine. Minus probably the plugs and maybe the carb.

That's a good damn question. Maybe he had a bad arse custom made Johnny Cash's long range rifle, got him a good prop and tested the wind in Reno, and shot a feller across the border in Calli just to watch him die.
