Does anyone NOT play H2H?

My league is exploring changes. H2H is just making less and less sense. Talking shite week to week is not a good enough reason for us to continue with the bad breaks that the H2H format can dish out.
We are discussing All Play and a format where the top 6 teams each week get a win.
Anyone have any insight on what the best format is?

This all play is the best format. TDFL does it.

As VKC said, we use this format in TDFL and it has become my favorite football league

Our regular season is only 12 weeks so we are thinking about making the championship a 2 week finale
We are also thinking about awarding FAAB $s for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round players that get injured and are ruled out for the season. Not alot, maybe just increments of $10

What is all play? I've always been in H2H leagues.

You play everyone week to week. If you score the most points in 1 week then you beat everyone else and are given an 11-0 record for that week

The way this is worded makes it seem like your record should be 77-55 as opposed to just 7-5.

Well that would make sense if you got 11 wins for beating one person and 11 losses for losing to one person, but match your points against each of the other 11 teams each week and if your points are greater than someone else's then you get 1 win for that week. If you have less points than someone then you get 1 loss. The highest points for a week would be 11-0. The lowest points for a week would be 0-11, and you just cumulate that over the entire season.

I understand the all play format you described in the OP, where the top 6 teams each week get a win. But this:

thats not the way tdfl does it.
top 6 each week get a win, bottom 6 get a loss.

Top 6 getting wins or all play may be the most "fair".
But it takes the fun out of it IMO. FF is about playing H2H, catching good/bad breaks. It shouldn't be taken so seriously IMO

I understand the system. I don't understand how you're 7-5. In the system you described, you're doling out 11 wins or losses each week.

TD Regulars league went to the "top 6 get a win, bottom 6 get a loss" format this year. Absolutely the best format I've played in.
