I love the saints and watch every game, but please lets be real our OL sucks,we have not drafted any good OL for years and it has caught up with us.When we had a few good ones we lose them to free agents

This is the same line as last year besides Bushrod. And that line was the same as the year before besides Nicks.

Kromer was a big loss IMO. Too bad Chicago is playing well. Our play calling isn't helping either. A running game would help protect Brees a little bit.

We should have paid Carl Nicks and let Colston walk two years ago. Doesn't matter who your receivers are if your line cannot consistently protect.

that extra 2mil/yr doesn't look half bad now.

Bushrod is not the reason for their success. He is a slightly-overpaid tackle, I had (and have) no problem that they let him walk.

grubbs + 2mil = carl nicks

hindsight is 20/20, but I do think we'd have a lot easier of a time if he was around. evans and nicks were maulers in the middle which made life easy

Yeah, he was worth the money he got at Tampa, no doubt. I think he was much better than Evans, but still the contract issue with Drew really hamstrung the team in what they could offer Nicks.
