Does anybody here ever "play" Space Engine?

I played with version 0.96 about a year ago and loved it, though it wasn't very user friendly. I had to mess with it a while to get the hang of it. It also crashed fairly frequently.
I'm curious to see how they improve it. I use Google Earth as a sort of education tool to show my son where we are in relation to other states, countries, and continents.
I plan to eventually use Space Engine in the same way to show him our solar system and how vast space is. Since we can only observe an extremely small portion of space this is, of course, just guessing at what is out there through procedural generation, but it's still damn impressive and fun to play with and does an excellent job of showing you how small we really are in relation to all that is out there.
I'd encourage anyone with even a passing interest in space exploration to give it a try, assuming you have a decent PC.

One more thing I want to say. A fun thing to do in Space Engine is find a really beautiful planet with a bunch of orbiting planets and moons, perch yourself up on a nice vista and then crank up the time setting.
You can see what sunsets and sunrises would look like on a planet like that and seeing all the celestial objects moving through the sky during this is pretty cool. I don't know if it has Oculus Rift support, but it should.
