That's right, Frosty: I have long believed every NFL team should play inside, even in San Diego and Miami -- at least with a retractable roof. One day, I believe, every team will.

You harrumph and say, "We purists believe football was meant to be played in the elements!" Yeah, maybe in the late 1800s. Give it up, Trapper John. We have indoor plumbing now -- and indoor football that makes the wintertime experience far better for players and fans alike. What beats a Super Bowl in the Superdome? Why should "real men" and "real women" suffer frostbite to support their teams?

I agree with this. All new stadiums should have retractable roofs. Playing in some of the elements that happen last Sunday is freaking ridiculous.

buncha pussies up in this thread.

The best football venues and the best fans reside in cold weather cities.

It is only fans of finesse teams that want this shite

Well, Skip, there will be 150+ million men and women who will be watching the game at room temperature.

Why??? I thought it was great. we pamper these players too much already. They get paid a shitload of money. Let them play in shitty conditions once in a while.. GEEZ the younger generation is a bunch of spoiled brats.......

Super Bowls in Pasadena.

Sun, Surf and beautiful Cali women.

Beats shanty-town cities anytime.

I disagree. It's one of the things that makes football unique. Rain, shine, sleet, or snow, the game will be played.

It is amazing how your brain functions.

It has nothing to do with pampering the players. It has to do with watching quality football. And before you even bring up all the scoring, let's not forget that most of the scores were made on plays where defenders straight up fell because of the crappy conditions.

I tend to agree, not many sports allows the weather to seriously effect their games. I want to see who is the best on the field, not who has played in snow before.
