Absolutely. Who wants to sit outdoors in 75 degree weather in SoCal watching football on grass?

When Princeton and Rutgers met in the first ever game, they decided that every subsequent game should only be played in the worst possible conditions. Especially championship games. frick your wussified advancements in architecture and civil engineering. frick your common sense. Real men take a Luddite position to sports.

Do you realize that the game a ton of people think of as the greatest game EVER played was the 1958 NFL championship game.IN THE SNOW............

That doesn't matter to some people. They want it their way, and resort to name calling and sarcasm to those who see it a different way.

There are two sides to this and some people are unable to accept that.

Oh well.... The NFL is making a huge mistake by putting it I NY in the 1st place........ I am not arguing that the SUPER BOWL NOT be played in a warm weather city or dome. It should be...

My point is those on here that are 20 somethings that ACT like they know NFL history [but don't] And want to think its supposed to be sunny and 75degrees every Sunday at every stadium.

There isn't home field advantage in the Superbowl (at least not yet). You want what team can score more 2 pt conversions because it's too fricking hard to kick an extra point?
If they score more points than the other team, sure.

It's not supposed to be the decider of the game.
The weather doesn't score points.

It should only be played in shite weather if the weather is shitty that day when they play the game.

It's a level playing field no matter what the weather is.

This Saints fan can't help but point out that a Super Bowl in New Jersey poses a weather risk that pales in comparison to that of having a franchise in New Orleans.

there's been plenty of superbowls in the dome that were fine.

the power outage thing was at least something memorable.
