If Mack Brown steps down at 10 AM, how fast will the dominoes fall?

If it is Nick Saban, how fast do you expect Texas to name him their next head coach? If it is not Nick Saban, how fast do you expect Texas to name their head coach not named Nick Saban?
One would imagine that Texas would want the new head coach hired ASAP, being that the Dead Period for recruiting the 2014 class is coming up (slated to start on December 16th). Roster assessment and bowl preparations would also be to made pretty swiftly, as well as also gathering together a brand new coaching staff.
What do you think?

I can't imagine Mack shows up to a bowl presser and peaces out. He may announce this is his final season, but I can't imagine he'll just end it right there.

He's going to talk about the Baylor game, and the upcoming bowl game. He'll decline to answer any questions about rumors or any coaching changes.

I can't see them asking Mack to step aside unless they have their man, whether it's Saban or not remains to be seen. Hard to believe they'll give up Mack for "A Search". JMO.

I figured that Mack Brown would introduce Saban as the new coach at the end of his press conference.
