Hearing all the talk from the pundits and seeing his name roll across the ticker has me wondering....should Saban address the rumors? Does he owe it to his fanbase? If so, when is the appropriate time?

The deal is done. They are just about to go through the dog and pony show for the media and the public.

Great question. Something should have been said by now which means the tree killers should be concerned

He addressed them last time and what did it get him? I see no reason for him to address anything. Nobody would believe him anyway.
The moment he said that he was not leaving Alabama this board would shut down from a retarded number of "he gone" posts

There is nothing to address.....UT still has a coach.....why would Nick address not going to a school that does not have an open position.

Saban has already addressed them on 60 minutes. his word is his bond. Deal with it

idk, but he sure is putting himself and Bama in the most awkward position possible if he stays
Posted on 12/12/13 at 9:10 am to Upperaltiger06
he's not going to say anything until everything is officially finalized

Probably when he reaches the title game with Texas next year.

You know it bro. Madder than a wet hen.

I'm sure he has too much respect for Mack, as most coaches do for one another, to address a job that isn't vacant. Yall keep grasping though, your disappointment is going to be delicious.

Why should he give up a huge leveraging opportunity? This negotiation will mean millions of dollars for him. There's absolutely no reason for him to do so.
quote:Lol, no. He owes them his best effort while he's coaching there. Nothing more, nothing less.
Does he owe it to his fanbase?

Saban is having too much fun trolling the college football world.

quote:Yeah, I'm sure that's what he cares about. Not millions more a year but what people type on the interweb and say on ESPN for a few days.

Saban: " 'ppreciate your interest in my contract."
