Got 2 turkeys cutting up behind me. Raising all kinds of hell. Wind about 10 mph sustained now. About ripping my cover off my tripod.

Been on the road since 5:30am, heading to Freer,Tx to knock down some horns. Hopefully will have some quick results.

Back at it this afternoon. Came to my favorite ladder stand looking over 50 yard plot. Saw some fresh scrapes this morning so decided to change. Heard some chasing going on in the woods, but nothing yet. 55 degrees with a slight breeze from the north. It's a beautiful afternoon!

Shot a real nice buck this evening and can't find him

Good luck man. I hate that damn feeling. I saw a few does but no bucks around to chase. You know I'm a duck hunter at heart when I saw about 12 pairs of woodies fly over and and all I wanted to do was go find them
