one of my old high school buddies is a coach on the staff. Don't think he'll divulge any info to me, though.

For recruiting fans: Drake Davis is a sophomore wide receiver for Dunham. Probably the top WR prospect for his class. He's Lester Earl's son.

I didn't think that he would resign, but I'm not shocked. Will be interesting what route Dunham goes next.

Is it just one of those things where he wasn't a "good fit" with the administration and everyone wasn't getting along?

from what I gathered - lets go with this. Mistretta is seeking another opportunity and Dunham needs someone that is, as you called it, a "good fit" for what they want to do there.

Is ole Lester a part of the kid's life? I had gathered that Lester wasn't in BR any more.

Meaning they don't want to recruit as much as he'd like?

Seems reasonable. shite happens. Good to see the split is at least publicly amicable.

Lester is not a part of his life.

Burton Burns and Cam Cameron have been by the school on multiple occasions this season looking at Drake, just a little FYI.

I always knew Lester Earl was a piece of shite...even before he enrolled at LSU in the first place. This doesn't shock me.

Have you seen their basketball team? Let's just say that it doesn't look like the typical Dunham population.

Pixley has always had very good teams. Regardless of the "typical population", that statement could be said for every private school in BR.

I haven't, and I know next to nothing about the situation, as I barely follow the 2A private school scene these days, although I'm always interested to learn a little more. I was just trying to figure out what all the euphemisms mean.

Yah...I am not sure Dunham can ever be at a point where they can win like Redemptorist did back in the day.
