Has anyone even pondered this idea? Sure, he won national championships at Bama, but college football teams are such a delicate product. What if things just aren't the same? Texas is hiring him to win National Championships. What if he only consistently wins 9-10 games every year?

I honestly believe this is the situation. I believe if it were to happen, he would do a meh job making 2 playoff appearances in 6 years, but never a National Championship.

this would actually be the most likely scenario. The game usually passes most coaches by once they hit their mid 60's.

1.) He WOULD win a National Championship at Texas.

There's no guarantee. I'd bet money that he'd get at least one, but there is no such thing as a sure bet.

Would be unacceptable.

That kind of money would come with the expected pressure of at least one championship. I think he could never win another one at Bama and still be loved. He has to win at least one at UT.

IMO he could sleep walk through his Big 12 schedule and at least make the playoffs every year

Texas? No. Nebraska? Oklahoma? Michigan? Maybe.

Not Texas though.

He will win and win big if he does go. Only thing he has left to do is show everyone that he can win a NC at three different schools . Its not about money its about the process.

Pondered?

We're practically begging for the longhorns to take Saban, pay him 10 fat ones a year, pace, bitch, cry, and bellyache when they realize:

A. They are still in the Big Twatever with practically ZERO interesting football to be played.

B. Nick Saban is looking for a final "coasting" job on his way to retirement. At 10 fat ones a year, it would be the best move EVAHHH!!!

C. One less top 5 team to play every year for the Aggies.

Nothing about the sips getting Nick Saban could EVER backfire for them.......EVER. Just like the LHN is a sure-fire game changer.
