Was a damn disgrace, a 6-2 Dallas loss, with one of Dallas goals being a garbage goal with less than a minute left. I knew Dallas was sloppy but god damn are the Blackhawks good. the shots on goal stats were entirely lopsided. They made the Dallas goalie look like hell. On another note the Blackhawk unis are my favorite in sports.

Do they actually travel or are there just a lot of Chicago transplants in Dallas?

Dallas seems to have the most away fans at all of their home sports arenas. Call it an epidemic of sorts.

There may just be a bunch of Chicago transplants here. They're a hard team not to like. They handled the puck amazingly and made scoring on the Dallas goalie look like I could do it. They handled business very quickly in Dallas tonight. They scored a minute and a half into the game. There were so many Blackhawks fans there that when they scored and I wasn't paying attention I sometimes thought the Stars had scored on the count of how loud it got.

I went to a Blackhawks game when I went up for the Saints game this year. So awesome, my first NHL game. Had sick seats some buddies and I bought last minute.

I literally have never been to a sporting event where you could not just show up and buy a ticket outside, superbowl, MLB, BCS etc. We got so lucky and some guys kids were sick he came right at game time and had 3 extras next to him. They love their hawks up there.

I have a Blackhawks shirt so I guess I'm a fan now. I'll watch them and the caps when their on TV because I have a bunch of DC buddies.

Back in the 1970's the Dallas Black Hawks were a minor league affiliate of Chicago. Despite their best efforts the Stars have never convinced those followers to change loyalties.

Dallas has played the Hawks 2 other times in the last 10 days or so. Took them to OT and lost on the shootout and beat them in Chicago. But the Stars 2 top defensemen are hurt now and they are a very young team.

I've had a partial season ticket plan for the Hawks for six years now. When I first started getting them in 2007, they were $11.25 a ticket. This year, $57 a ticket, and these are the cheapest seats in the house (approaching NFL ticket territory, but for 41 home games!). That's a 400% increase, and they still have a waiting list. But the games are something. I still get goosebumps for every national anthem when I'm there in person.
