Ummm... that was insane. Ovie scored his last goal with 30 seconds left in the 3rd with the goalie pulled to tie the game. Just an amazing game.

He's playing at a level right now that is almost unmatched. This is like Pavel Bure in his prime kind of goal scoring.

Yeah but what does that have to do with Saban?

48 goals in his last 50 games. He's scoring like it is 1988.

And yet it's still Crosby > Malkin > Ovi

Remember at the beginning of last season when people were saying he wasn't a top player anymore?

Who? Da fuq? Retards maybe. He's def a top 5 player.

I'd put him behind Sid and Geno and then toss up with Ovi and Stamkos, giving the nod to Stamkos for age.

It was when he was in that drought to start the season. Barry Melrose said something along the lines of he is still a good player but nowhere near the top.

Calder Trophies (rookie of the year):
Ovie 1, Crosby 0

Hart Trophies (MVPs):
Ovie 3, Crosby 1

Ross Trohpies (most points):
Ovie 1, Crosby 1

Richard Trophies (most goals):
Ovie 3, Crosby 1

Lindsay Awards (MVP, voted by players):
Ovie 3, Crosby 2

Ovie also has 154 more goals and 62 more points than Crosby. Crosby won a Cup when Malkin went nuts and won the Smythe and Fleury had his one year when he wasn't a sieve. But I don't see how anyone can argue with a straight face that Crosby is the better player anymore. Ovie has found another level.

You're joking right?

Crosby is light years ahead of Ovechkin and it hasn't been close for years now.

Malkin passed Ovi and so has Stamkos for gods sake.

Solid troll effort though, always a good laugh.

Yup, people were saying he was no longer elite. Then Oates moved him from the off-wing and... wow. He's not as explosive as he was when he was a kid, but he's such a sniper now. It's like if Brett Hull could skate like Federov.
