I know there's actually a couple IT firms in the area. You could always try the local major construction companies, they're often looking for IT people. Cajun, MMR, ISC, Group, ect would all be worth checking.

Do you have any background working in Healthcare IT/IS? There should be a few openings in the LSU Health System soon. Your office would be in Baton Rouge.
