Chicago Spice House

The garlic thread got me wondering what the FDB regs use for spices, seasonings. Mrs. Debaser places orders on the reg with Chicago Spice House. I love their seasonings. Dried Italian herbs, telicherry pepper corns, Thyme, lemon pepper, orange pepper, Chive-pepper, cayenne, garlic powder and granulated, all the mexican seasonings, etc. I am sure there are other places closer, but these seasonings are great and cheaper than buying in grocery. We either use or order throw out all spices after 6 or so months.

Penzey's is my go-to. Interestingly, the Spice House is owned by Bill Penzey's sister. Their parents started the Spice House stores, and he formed Penzey's separately. As I understand it, both establishments use many of the same suppliers.
