Prime time = SNF, MNF, or night playoff game.

Since the last loss (2008 vs Min):

W-L: 16-0
Avg PPG: 39.3
Avg PPG allowed: 18.8
Avg margin of victory: 20.5

ETA: Brees during the streak: 54 TD, 5 INT

The Saints have won 13 consecutive night games inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, including the playoffs. In those games, Brees has thrown for 43 touchdowns and four interceptions.

frick. can we just play all 8 home games for SNF/MNF?

I guess we don't count the Saturday night football game against the cowboys

Saturday night is not NFL prime time.

It's not so much about the time of day as it is about the fact that the whole nation is watching. That's why Thursday night games (and Saturday night games) aren't really "prime time" for the NFL IMO unless they are playoff games (or maybe Thanksgiving games).

And regardless, even if we don't count the 3 games before that Dallas game, the streak is still impressive as hell. 13 straight wins with stats basically the same as the ones I have in the OP.

Thursday nights traditionally have the most television viewers during the week. It is definitely prime time. Most networks air their highest rated shows on Thursday nights for this reason.

I heard on the radio last week that Thursday night games on NFL Network averages about the same as a World Series game on Fox. Something like a 6 market share.
