Miami at Pittsburgh, CBS, light snow and sleet, temp 20s.

Lions at Philadelphia, FOX, whiteout conditions, clearing 10-yard- increment lines being kept clear with snow shovels.

If the saints win in the snow will it be tainted? Or just if they lose?

Neither IMO. If this happens in NJ in February, what about the fans paying lots of bucks for the Super Bowl "experience?"

Apparently, Reggie Bush slipped on the field programs and is out for the game.

who knows if the teams would even be able to get to the stadium, much less the spectators...

what will the kommissar do? ask to have the national guard called up and move the spectators to the stadium in convoys of bradley fighting vehicles?

Isn't there a subway to the stadium?

my god that Philly game is one of the worst i've ever seen.

Looks like a half-foot or so of snow on the field already and near whiteout conditions.

the meadowlands where met life stadium is located is not much more than marshland....there are NO subways there and the train lines are on the NYC side of the NJ turnpike....

It is funny how it doesn't even look like it is snowing in New York right now, but Philly has a damn blizzard.

I could have sworn many people said you could take the train to the stadium and back.

The Philly game is about as bad a white out as there is.

there are inches of snow on the field, and they have no idea what yard they are on.

Link from Meadowlands website

I'll be damned, someone did so something smart and put a rail link in....but it's an above ground link...this is fairly new

You can, there is a train that runs from the Secaucus station to the stadium on game days. Not a subway, but a commuter train (much bigger)

It's gonna be a terrible game. People over on the MSB are going bananas because apparently this is "real football" because it's snowing. Somehow that makes sense. Super Bowls have been played in domes or places like Tampa, Miami, and San Diego for decades for a reason.

Couple of commercial breaks ago FOX ran an ad for Super Bowl, hope goodell is squirming right now. Probably not though, just counting his $$$.

Running another one now, something about a fan vote. Y'all catch that?

it would be going back to basics....how will der kommissar be able to do all the ancillary crap like the pregame and halftime shows in weather conditions like we see on tv....osha and the safety people will look at them and laugh....

They're just playing in the middle of the field, back and forth. Is that "real football?"

Lost count of fumbles.

That's what I'm saying. I'm all for games like this, it's awesome today. But when you're team makes it all the way to the big game, just to have to deal with things like not being able to find the yard lines, or even be able to hold on to the ball, that's just lame.

You guys need to come back me up in that MSB thread

Wow, Bell just had to come out of the game because he "couldn't find his shoe" after it came off. It's probably lost under three feet of snow
