Earlier in the Ok vs Ok St. game, with about 1 minute left in the game, there is no replay of an apparent INT, yet with 10 min left in the half of TX vs Baylor, the replay official calls down to the field to review an apparent fumble, even after the snap of the next play?

After the snap? How long after the snap? I think the whistle "starts" when the referee picks up his hand to blow the whistle

Baylor actually attmepted a pass incomplete, and the Big 12 officials reviewed the play before.

Same conference officials didn't stop play to review on apparent INT with clock already stopped.

Just no consistency.

Especially when there's less than 2 min in the game deciding your conference championship.

I don't get it.

Many variables in play. Was the replay system working at the time? Did the replay official see enough from one replay that he didn't need to stop play and see the others?

Well, I can attempt to explain away the earlier call too.

Maybe Gundy should have used one of his 3 TO's to reveiw, etc.

But when the same conference has their replay official stop the game after a play has been completely run to review the play before, and it's in the first half later in the day, with the same conference championship on the line, I'm confused.

Why wouldn't the replay official in the first game automatically review such a big play? I mean, it's the same conference, with teams playing for the same championship, only this time it was even at a much more critical time in the game.

Just seems so arbitrary.
