Worse than I thought. Maybe they should have cheated.

Isom returned at the start of the 2nd half. Acadiana's defense played lights out. Watch out parkway. This Acadiana team is all business.

So not having their starting QB didn't make a difference? C'mon now.

I picked Acadiana to win, but just be honest. Say Acadiana knocked him out of the game so no excuses. Don't say it didn't matter.

He played the whole second half. Granted he didn't take off and run like he used to but he was playing. Acadiana did a great job defensively.

Acadiana defense is big and fast. You spread them out and they have speed to man you up, you try and run they're big enough to stop it with their front 4. Their offense is like novocaine, just give it time it always works

A score and some stats would be useful to this thread.

didn't he finish 1 drive and they scored a td? he got knocked out on the second drive. i'm not sure how this game would have turned out otherwise, but Destrehan would have scored more points for sure.

I don't have stats. From being at the game, I would guess Acadiana held, at the very least, a 4-1 advantage in both yardage and time of possession. Half time score was 13-7 AHS.

Dest qb went up against what is probably the best defensive backfield In the state. You could tell he played against teams where his teammates were more athletic than the opponents. Not the case here.

Acadiana was relentless in their ground game, as usual.

Acadiana held Destrehan to 150 yds total offense. Acadiana had 358 yds rushing, not sure how much passing they had. I'd guess about 50 yds.

The only stat they won was penalties.
