Saban to Texas as early as next week?

A local sports station is again hashing out the scenario that barring Bama backdooring the BCS game, which we'll know after this weekend, that Saban very likely will accept the Texas job before the end of next week!
This is the same station (105.3 FM)with the host that is getting info from a realtor in the firm Saban's wife is using to shop for a home in Austin.
Also, apparently Saban's wife has some major pull as to where Nicky goes next. Who knows what happens next week, these guys are saying Texas is working on a deal that would pay him nearly double his current salary, and are now saying the terms are already agreed upon. It will be interesting to see how this comes out.

I'm still no more convinced this happens than I was in January, but I'll say this, if this is going to happen, it'll happen Sunday as long as Bama isn't plays g for the national championship. Mack could still coach their bowl while Nick could start building his empire.

Based on his behavior this past week, I doubt he goes anywhere. The man has been recruiting like a man possessed. He has been everywhere from Washington DC to Monroe Louisiana this week. Heck, he was even in NOLA Wednesday and South Carolina that evening. He then went to DC today. If he were leaving, I'd imagine a couple of token visits but sending Smart out to do most do the work. Instead he has shown no sign of slowing down.

I know right? our one loss to your 3 losses and we still have an outside shot of playing for a nattie but are guaranteed of playing in a BCS bowl..I am completely crushed though

Week we've had? Sure we lost to AU. shite happens. We then got a commitment from a five star safety Monday and a 4 star DE/DT yesterday. Were also favored to flip a four star safety soon. I'd say we've had a pretty good week all things considered.

I don't believe it's Terri's agent, but another one in the same firm. And, she's not just a source, but someone related.
Anyway, don't sweat it, it appears to be sooner than later on an announcement.
