Umm, seriously? In 2004 Saban got a standing ovation as he walked in my graduation at LSU...George W. Bush, the f'ing President of the Untied States, didn't.

Saban was the King, and more of a god than you think, that Skip Bertman let Miami take.

You would think so. It's the biggest show with the biggest audience in college football.

I've met Saban and both Bush's.

I was more honored to meet the former Presidents than our former football coach.

Are you posting the same article that was just a rehash of the Tiderinsider report?

Why not have an official release like everyone else?

My original comment was in response to someone else saying Saban wasn't a god while at LSU. I said he was.....by saying that the majority of the PMac during a graduation showed more respect to him than to the President.

FYI...I would rather meet W. than Saban.

I was at that graduation...my brother sang the national anthem for your graduation.

...sorry...I just thought it was cool that he was on the same stage with the president.

Love that article...it calls the UT rumor unsubstantiated crap from a message board...and why....because they like their unsubstantiated crap from Bama site better.

Ooooookay....how bout we just wait.

I thought it was awesome that Bush spoke at it. My only point to posting in this thread was in response to the OP who said Saban wasn't a god to LSU. He was...very much so!
