Kershaw Ken Onion Leek Steel?

I ordered a leek for me for my bday. I ordered it under the impression that the blade was 14C28N. Now, rereading some of the amazon descriptions, I see they are saying the blade is 440A. Which is correct, or are there some of each?
ETA - I found a site that says amazon is wrong, and the steel is 14C28N.

I believe they are 14c28n now. Kerhsaw did a small run of 440a steel leeks for amazon a long time ago but it was only like 500 and I think they sold them all several years ago. When you get the knife it should say what steel was used on the blade.

Thanks, upon further research, I think you're right. That's good because I've never liked 440.

My fiance has one that she carries everyday. Carried it for 5 years so far, she hasnt worn it out. Ill have to look what type of steel hers is, I got her one that is 1/2 serrated.

I have 2 of the speed assist leaks. They are great knives.
