I had preordered it but I cancelled it...my backlog is waaaaaaaaay to big as it is and I can sink hours into that game

With all the positive reviews that Forza 5 is getting from the XB1, I sure wish they would have made that game for the PS. Sounds pretty great. Going to be hard for GT to beat that one, IMO.

Im not a big racing fan, but GT has been on a decline every year for a while.
Forza seems to be taking over. Maybe not the better sim, but the better game.

I would honestly rather have that if I was a GT fan than a port of a PS3 version.

I would have time for it, but I'll be waiting for GT7, whenever that comes out. Drive Club will do till it.
What have they done poorly? GT is still beautiful and is the better sim. They added damage models and the incredible amount of online and community features (GT TV is awesome). That was all GT5 though. Can't wait for Polyphony to try their hand at new tech.

I guess I don't have much to go on except what I have heard from friends playing it and the metacritic score.

I like the GT series, but having to do the license tests to advance in the single player version of the game is probably what kills it for most people.

Me too. I think they didn't want to rush it since it was already in production. They added like 25 tracks and 100 cars so re-doing it would probably delay it a long time, especially with Kaz/Poly's history.
Kaz shoots for quality. It's nice that they added so much stuff, kept the payouts and prices on the same scale as GT5, and don't make it so you virtually HAVE to buy some cars, although you do have the option to.
