Even though Metts injury came at such a bad time, there is a silver lining to all this. And that is AJ10 is getting the experience and hopefully the confidence that will carry over to next year.

Nice, safe assumption that won't get you ridiculed for being outlandish. I concur.

i'm really sorry not to be able to see Mett one more time but it is what it is. One game where he is captain of the ship should help AJ. add the first few cupcake games (whisky excluded) and he should be experienced enough to do the job.

yeah, getting all bowl practice plus spring and fall ball should be a big advantage for him going into next season

It's the best thing that has happened to LSU football from a QB position in the past 10 years! Good showing in bowl game and we're top 5 pre-season for 2014 - NO doubt! However, I sill feel bad for Mett and him missing out on setting all-time single season passing record at LSU. He would have done it w/o the injury IMHO. Geaux Tigers!

It's obv better for LSUs future to have AJ getting all the snaps for bowl game, assuming of course he plays well.

Sucks for ZM, but it's good for future.
