Does anyone else think that Jacoby Jones wouldn't have scored a TD?

Even if Tomlin hadn't gotten so close?

Now I'm not saying it wasn't dirty. But too big of a deal is being made out of this.

Doesn't matter. He wasn't given the opportunity.

doesn't matter, the NFL is a game of inches.

That extra yard movement in the inside may have made all the difference...

the point is we will never know and that is exactly why this is a big deal.

so it is pretty irrelevant.

Tomlin could have been taking a shite on his mothers couch and Jones still would have been tackled.

Sure he was, no contact was made. He was going to be caught.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows he wouldn't have scored, but that's irrelevant.

still purposely cheating is cheating and there is no tolerance of it.

He still would have been tackled and the Ravens still won the game. Fine him but don't take away draft picks. That fricking ridiculous.

He would not have scored imo.

I think the punishment is just. He cheated, plain and simple. He's also a liar. So is Jason Kidd. Both of these guys embarassed themselves and should just admit what they did, take their beating, and move on.

That is a huge thing but it goes far beyond that

who is to say that a different set of events takes place where jones fumbles and the steelers get it and score...there are any number of scenarios that MAY have taken place and were not given the opportunity to

The fans, the paying customers are given a result that is not air tight, it is questionable, it is up for debate. In essence, the consumers were screwed.

So it doesn't matter at all...What Tomlin did is a big deal. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just making peace with it in the least offensive way possible. Who wants to feel like a sucker or a chump?..the validity of that entire game is now questionable...and due to the NFL's preferential treatment of one organization and coach over the other, every game is.

Are you kidding? A coach is physically interfering with the play and thats not a big deal?
