Well the good news is Dr. Andrews is an LSU grad, so Mett will be under good care and will bounce back!

Just one of those curveballs thrown in life.

Well since the Mechanism Of Injury was a severe hyper extension of the knee this was the most likely ligament involved. I would just hope that the brace protected it enough to limit the tear, though seeing how much pain he was in it might not have helped much. And yes they can perform a Lachman's or Anterior Drawer test to determine ligament stability on the field or sidelines but it would still need an MRI as previously stated to determine severity and other possible ligament damage.

19-6 as a starter. Was really hoping he would get that 20th and a bowl win. He's gonna show out in the NFL.

Jennings era has begun!

To all these people confused about a National source coming out with the story before a local source, does not understand how things work.

A local writer would be deneid access and possibly lose his job if too much information given. Kenny in N. O. was an example of this.

I believe if Less really wanted to, he could make life miserable for a local guy. I believe it has happened before.

In some situations, it could be a local source giving it to the national guy. Most rumors have a large portion of truth to them. It is also really hard to control information in todays society, but it still happens. Especially when LSU supports and is supported by soo many people around here.

The local guys usually put this stuff out first, which debunks your theory

Sucks for him. Hopefully he bounces back.I would have liked to see him play in the bowl game but getting Jennings a start and major playing time before the opener with Wisconsin isn't a terrible thing.
