Well, some folks seem to think that LSU hasn't announced it yet to stay in the running for a Cotton Bowl bid, but they don't realize that the Cotton Bowl won't take LSU even with Mett healthy.

I like how ESPN breaks this news while our local media is left scratching their heads and repeating what ESPN has already reported.

Crap... I guess it is true are at the least close. Sorry about that for Mett!
If there is a silver lining we will get to see AJ before the spring game and he will get some big game time experience this season which should only help him next season.

Hard to beat a national source. The guy who broke it is an NFL insider. He got his info from GMs/player personnel directors who have ties to Cam Cameron.
Hard for a local guy to establish a relationship with an OC who was just hired less than a year ago

Just reading this for the first time.....shite sucks man. I've torn my ACL and odds are the doctor told him it was torn on the sideline of the Arky game. They can tell by feel without an MRI. Would explain his emotions after the game....
Hope he gets drafted high and succeeds at the next level.

It does seem weird
But the fact that Bonnette couldn't "confirm or deny it" doesn't seem good

while we have had success with back up qbs in bowl games. not having your best option at qb and losing the game in no way helps LSU.

Then you should know not all are the same and an mri would be needed to tell how serious it was.
