Paris and Harris really endeared themselves to Tiger fans today and showed how much love the have for LSU.

There are several uncommitted players out who we assume to be silent a who want to 1- enjoy the process and 2- have their moment in the sun at the all star game. I'm all for them doing so with this once in a lifetime chance they have earned with hard work.

But here's my idea in case any of them read it.

The situation with Hootie today was kinda demoralizing for a lot d Tiger fans. We haven't had much positive news lately.

So how bout guys like LF, MD, Speedy, GW3, Garrett and Brown get together and make a cool video with their highlights and any other fun stuff they want to put in it, with some cool background music. Even throw in a few interviews quotes like "I want to play for national championship" "for the best fans" "for a coach who loves his players" or any of the other reasons they are selecting us.

Simultaneously schedule school assemblies and get coverage on ESPN for each one....say dec 16. Play the video on the big screen and at the end all the same time all pull out LSU hats (or something better) and say LSU!

To my knowledge it has never been done on that scale before...and while announcing during the all star game is cool, it's not really unique or memorable (unless you embarrass your mama, and no one wants to do that)

Yeah tldr, fail, geeky stupid or what ever....I'm just some crazy old guy. But.... These guys would be heroes forever to LSU fans though and it would set a new trend.

Ed P or Brandon if you're on here, can ya make it happen???

Well, those two already signed their LOI's...I understand what you're saying, but don't think it will happen.

Just saying that Paris and Harris could coordinate the whole thing with the uncommitted recruits since they have already taken on leadership roles

And you're right probably wouldn't happen...but awesome if they did.

Your intent is nice but I think you should just go to bed.

It's a nice sentiment; however, the two events that all future elite recruits will certainly be watching will be the two all-star games.

The excitement, energy, and drama created by elite players committing to LSU on that day will have a tremendous impact on the future of LSU recruiting.

Patience. They're worth the wait.

I agree with everything you said but also think that doing something new, bold and different could get even more national recruiting attention and draw more excitement.

Doing it sooner rather than later might also help with guys like Adams and Jackson. And lets face it, I believe these guys love LSU and something like this would bring a huge positive boost to the program (ie good for what they love)

actually, I got the news late Friday afternoon that our QB for next year drove his team 99 yards to win a game. It seemed like pretty positive news.

Sorry I meant recruiting wise

Jennings was huge news, as was the true freshman at center and the RS fr who caught the pass.
