Back to Earth Game - This could be good in the long run

Yeah, we are getting skull drug tonight. It's the ugliest game I have seen in a long time!! and THIS SUCKS!!!!
But you know, sometimes thats just what it takes. We can't just waltz into a game, especially this late in the season and expect to win. We need to stick to the fundamentals and the game plan. Can't have busted coverages and missed assignments.
I feel sorry for the Panthers next week when the Saints are out too look for revenge! (wait, no I dont!)

Our goal is to go to the Super Bowl. There is no doubt about it.
We will have to come back to Seattle. Learn from this. Know what to expect. Prepare for worse.

I guess the Pats and Jets game weren't enough. A good arse whipping by carolina and we should be good to go.

Losing the #1 seed is not 'good in the long run' and arguing the Saints will turn around and crush the Panthers simply because they got crushed by the Seahawks tonight isn't very sound reasoning. Sometimes a negative is only a negative.

I'm with you. Just like that 3 game losing streak in 09 made them focus on playoffs.

I'm not packing it in, just saying this is a major setback if the goal is a title. Don't see a silver lining here.

I guess we just see things differently. The #1 seed doesn't equate to going to the Super Bowl. Sure it's nice, and sure we haven't faired well on the road during the playoffs, but anything can happen in the post season.

Exactly. We got punched in the mouth. We can no run home to mommy and transfer schools or learn to fight.
