Actually just the opposite. He and Hootie has openly discussed playing together since CJ is a FS and Hootie is SS. I honestly do not think CJ flips from OM and if he does it will be to Bama. If we can get Adams and keep Battle we will be ok.

Luckily Bama can't sign everyone. I don't see how they have all of this room given the number of recruits they're supposed to be in the running for.

hampton and hootie are friends and them playing together at bama is a big selling point for bama.

At this point, I would prefer Adams to Hampton, but would take both - we just need good safeties that badly. Hampton is a guy that I think could play either spot, whereas Hootie is going to be a strong safety or linebacker.
We already have enough smallish linebackers - I want true, old school safeties. Like Norman Lejeune or (ETA: Nice Edit) Craig Steltz.

Wouldn't it be funny if bama told Hootie that hampton was on their list and they would play together only to pull any offer from Hampton now that they have hootie because of lack of room.

...and that does get crowded in 2014, with Sunseri coming back and LC there. One of those guys (Hampton/Hootie) will be riding the pine. And that doesn't take into account which 5stars Bama brings in 2015.
I laugh how these HS players think "playing together" is important and have it all planned out.....

Another wouldn't it be great... if Hootie chose Alabama over LSU to play for Satan and then satan leaves for Texas. That would be so awesome!
