Otis is my hero (Catfish Lake report)

I'm new to boating and had myself one hell of a mistake by running my boat about 90 feet into a bay that was about 8 inches deep. I had to climb out of the boat and "swim" to an island and start pulling us out. It took about an hour to get the boat about 30 feet out, before someone was finally kind enough to pull us out. Many went by, only one stopped.
In the most non-gay way possible: I frickING LOVE YOU, OTIS!!!
It turned out to be a nice trip overall. We caught 9 or 10 sheepshead, a few specks, and a red.
Best thing, my daughter caught her first fish all by herself.
Kinda wish it was something cooler than a sheepshead, but it'll do. Notice the amount of mud on me.

Hippie or not no excuse for the other boaters not offering aid, especially with kid on board. Total dick move, by those that passed them up

This for sure. Most people that are on the water these days don't know the rules of the water ways.

I know I will certainly ALWAYS help someone I see in trouble.
As a side note: He passed us as we were fishing later.
He said "Did you seriously not go change your clothes?'
I said "I had fish to catch and too little daylight."
He called me a crazy motherfricker, then told me where one of his honey holes is located.
Love that guy.
