Biggest psychopath head coach in sports?

Watching this Gameday piece in Muschamp has me thinking it might be him. Bo Pelini is another guy in the conversation. Jim Harbaugh for the 49ers has issues as well.

Muschamp was way worse when he first started at UF, TBH. Pelini is awful, I agree.

LOL. No. Not Harbaugh.
I'm a 49er fan. Huge fan. Singletary was closer to a "psychopath" coach than Harbaugh is.
Harbaugh = Giant Douchebag Whiney Pussy, not psychopath.

Those LSU D coordinators can't keep their shite together?

Not really a psychopath, but Saban is literally obsessed, and I honestly think him pounding the Process into people's heads is a form of brainwash.
But it is definitely Pelini.

Saban as a psychopath would've applied earlier in his career, but yeah, he is one focused mother fricker.

Which is interesting considering he's been a HC for 6 years now, and has gotten worse at his attitude.

Well I guess, but I think at the minimum he thinks about it 23 hours a day for at least 350 days a year. I hope he lives long after he retires, I'd love to see him talking Xs and Os on TV for a few years.

Depends how you define a psychopath. If you use the anecdotal definition of a volatile personality who has little self control, then guys mentioned like Knight, Pelini, Muschamp, Martin, etc. are all in consideration.
I'm inclined to follow a more precise definition of the psychopath. One is which the psychopath is often an individual who is seen as fearless, focused and ruthless. But the defining characteristic is that they pursue self interest only, and at any expense. These psychopaths have no sense of ethics as it applies to other people. The ends always justify the means, so long as the ends are self serving.
In this sense, I can think of no greater psychopath in sports than Saban (maybe Belichick). The point of note here is that being a psychopath is clearly not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to coaching (perhaps it is even a net good). One could argue that it is precisely because of their focused, ruthless, unrelenting desire to win (at all costs) that these are two of the greatest coaches of all time across all sports.
