It absolutely helps. Now you know he can utilize all players.

What's incredible is how he hit the tight end on that rollout from the endzone right over a linebacker too.. Just an incredible play.

Then he spread it out all over the field and his footwork was exceptional in the pocket. If you go back and watch the drive again, it's even more impressive.

It's all over ESPN but I always watch the entire game the following day. I'm looking forward to watching Jennings. BTW, I don't mention LF since he's the least of my concerns

I dripped a little bit with that pass. Pure beauty.

Mett is great, but compare Jennings' footwork with the 4th and 1 where Mett had 15 yards of room to run to his right and dumped it short to Hill. I'm pretty stoked.

Wow that's a lot of confidence based on 1 series. I guess we will see.

As a true freshman to step in and do what he did! I'm sold that fast!

With the game on the line, with a frosh QB only the win the game? No jitters for Jennings.

True, it is only one drive, but wow what a drive in a pressure cooker situation. He pass to the TE was very nice. He throws a great ball and has great footwork. I am excited to see him play more.

Favorite play of the game. I was there and you could see the touch and timing that pass required. That is our biggest indication that he is not another JJ.

Eta:thank you Mett for coming to LSU and lighting up Tiger Stadium!

I'd wait to see him on more than one drive but that's just me

That's not taking away from his performance today btw

Couldn't agree more. He did a really good drive on that one drive but I won't be sold until he wins a game playing all 4 quarters. Which will be next season, so only time will tell. Not taking away from his performance today, but not sold just yet. Waiting until next season.

The QB battle is still wide open next year- not to dilute what Jennings did today which was quite impressive, but the whole situation caught the Hogs unprepared. 2 minutes does not make 60 minutes. But right now, just concerned about Mett's status for our bowl game.

Just watched that drive again. Damnation, that was beautiful stuff right there. That kid came in with no playing time to speak of under tremendous pressure, rallied the troops and took care of business in a stunning way. I can't wait to watch him on Saturdays.

Remember that only one drive started on the 1 yard line.

And the whole team looked extremly comfortable with him in and seemed to have faith in him getting it done.
