in the heads of the SF 49ers. They just can't let it go.I so love getting under their skin

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — San Francisco safety Donte Whitner is challenging Drew Brees to come beat the 49ers fair and square — and Whitner hopes that happens in a playoff date in January.

Whitner is still irked that officials called linebacker Ahmad Brooks for a personal foul on Brees late in a 23-20 loss at New Orleans on Nov. 17, and on Wednesday he called for the NFL to take a stand on replay for some illegal hit penalties.

"We look at him as being one of the greats, but come and beat us, come and win a football game, don't take that one," Whitner said Wednesday. "They didn't earn that football game. We felt like we had an opportunity to win it, we felt like we outplayed them and we felt like we should have won. Hopefully, we'll see them again. ... Drew Brees and those guys are over there celebrating. We kind of have a formula against those guys and hopefully we'll see them again in the playoffs."

Please sir, I'd like some more.

Yeah, I saw Brees and Sproles on Bourbon last night, drinking their asses off and yelling "YEAH WE BEAT THE 9ERS!"

The only reason the game was close was because of two fumbles that were not cause by 49er players.

I don't know. Maybe next time try to gain some yards. If you get out gained by more then 200 yards, you did not out play them.

this is like a 5th grader whining. Seriously, do you see junior complaining "tell that pretty boy brady to come beat us fair and squaare. I got held"

nor do you see Brady/gronk go "tell that damn luke ku-whatever his name is to come beat us fair and square without holding"

the list can keep going on and on, but yeah whatever. Act as if brees couldn't have made it go into OT. we kicked a fieldgoal to tie the game on that drive. Followed by 49ers qb sucking it up, and us driving down for another field goal. Take away 3 points, its still a tie game.

Yeah, 60 minutes of opportunity. But you didn't get it done.

It's as if the entire world completely forgot that touching a QB's helmet is a flag.

El oh fricking el.

400 yards of offense to 200?
17 points off gifted turnovers? Not to mention you only scored 20 total?
These guys can frick right off if they're still bitching about this game.

if that play was reviewed he would have heard "after further review, the call on the field is CONFIRMED"

The formula of giving up nearly 400 yards while gaining less than 200 yourself is a winner, I tell ya.

He did everything he’s supposed to do. It’s not his fault that Drew Brees is a little guy and can’t really take a hit. That’s really what won the football game for them. We feel like it cost us the game,” Whitner said.

What an idiot.

We really need to get something done about that — replay, something — so it doesn't cost us football games. Because we really deserved to win that game."

after replay by the league it was determined a finable hit. is this guy legitimately retarded?

They won't be clamoring for a rematch after we curbstop the Seattle team that walloped them

They score 3 points if we can hold on to the ball. I'm not scared of these clowns, bring them to the dome in the playoffs, I welcome the opportunity to beat them twice in a season.

Sure, maybe we'll see them in the dome for the playoffs
