Apparently this guy could have waited until after out game to drop his appeal, playing against us then missing the last 4 regular season games. But he chose to drop it now.....hmm,,....someone skurred. LINK

quote:

With five total regular-season games remaining, Thurmond could have played against the Saints then dropped the appeal, missing the final four regular-season games and being available for all postseason games.

Really enjoyed this part:
quote:

If the Seahawks get torched by the Saints’ passing game on Monday night, it’s safe to say that the question will be asked, loudly, by Seattle fans.

In other CB news:
quote:

@AdamSchefter: CB moves keep coming in SEA: Seahawks have released CB Perrish Cox and promoted CB DeShawn Shead from their practice squad to active roster.

Alot of us (Seahawks fans) were wondering why Cox was even brought here when Shead was on the practice squad. Shead is being paid starter money because the front office likes him so much and they dont want him to be plucked by other teams.
That being said, We still have Maxwell and Lane.
Both who started last year in his spot when Browner was suspended last season. Actually, when they came in last season, is when we caught fire and became the hottest team in the last part of the season. And that was without a fraction of the pass rush we have this season. Dont get me wrong, it would be nice to have Browner or Thurmond, But BOTH are considered highly expendable compared to any other part of our defense. We drafted Tharold Simon to take Browners spot after this season because it was pretty much given he was gone anyway.
