COD Ghost Maps

Does anyone else find the maps for PvP to be way too freaking big? I know it takes time to get used to any new game but they just seem huge.

The maps are bigger but there's also a lot of wasted space. If you've moved on to a PS4/XB1 try out Ground War. It has that COD chaos you're looking for.

I've never played CoD till Ghosts, but I'm enjoying the maps 
Seems a lot better to me than back in the day when I'd watch people turn a corner, shoot someone, turn another corner and get shot.

I don't understand why people feel the need to come in a flame about someone playing a certain game.
I bought and played all of the CODs and played the crapnout of them. Then I took a break cause I got bored with it. Didn't play any cOD for about 8 months.
Now I picked up Ghost and I'm really enjoying it.

I played it once and I hated them. Almost every time I would get killed from behind. There are way too many places to go on the map and it's just too big. No Ghosts for me

I don't understand this thought either... why would one expect to never be killed from behind?

If you played all the other COD's as some have said in this thread then you would know that this may be the worse. I could always get the best of campers for the most part on the other COD's but now you are rewarded for camping. I get killed by a guy camping so it takes forever to find him on these huge maps then i'm rewarded with a dog killing me when i get there

OP- I hated the maps at first but thats mostly because I didnt know them. After a few days of getting shot in the same place I learned where was safe and where was hot. The maps have a ton of dead space that gives it the illusion of size. But ultimately just like every CoD game the action takes place where the devs want it to.
My biggest issues are the amount of routes and back door/window/broken floor entries into an area that Im trying to patrol. My thought is thats why this game feels like there are more campers. You feel like you could get killed anytime you take off.
My suggestion is to learn the maps,play objective games, and play with a squad that you can run with.
I was skeptical of Ghosts but after giving it a few days I really started to enjoy it.

Game has a different feel to it. You almost have to deprogram the way your mind worked in BLOPS 2 where all of the maps were soup cans. Gotta learn the spawn system, learn what weapons kill the fastest, and learn to use your teammates to control the maps.
You will never get rid of campers in the game. They become easy targets once you get better at the game. It's like anything else, you just have to get your arse kicked for a little while before you start owning the campers.
And realize that there's a small segment of players that will always be better than you because they live in their mother's basement and don't have to work for a living.
