What an experience to say the least. Game starts and this dude is yelling at the top of his lungs nonstop and waiving his towel. Everyone in the section was frustrated.

I started noticing a lot of people coming up to the guy and asking him for his picture. I kept hearing them call him Visor Guy. Well I finally got around to Googling this dude and apparently everyone in their stadium knows who this guy is.

I will say that I did start to respect the dude in the 2nd half. He's the biggest A&M fan I've ever witnessed.

CSB I know, but if you were in 413 or anywhere around, you know what I'm talking about.

One time I sat next to Mike "Big Dawg" Woods (the UGA fan that you always see with the bulldog painted on his bald head) at a baseball game.

I got up and moved after the 4th inning because he was too annoying to sit next to.

Sounds like this visor guy is similar.

Didn't notice. But did anybody else in 413 see that drunk LSU guy. Some man put him in a choke hold near the end of the game.

Anybody see this? I was wondering what caused this rift between two LSU fans?

Guy 1: "I like Les. I think he's done a good job."
Guy 2: "You're an idiot."

Don't all fights between LSU fans start this way?

(And maybe it's an A&M thing, but the Aggie fans behind me were loudly and obnoxiously cheering well after the game got out of hand. It was funny at first, then stupid, then really annoying.)

I basically had a whole row of aTm fans on the row ahead of me in 421 whooping, throwing up weird hand signals, and hollering "Johnny frickin Football" until the game was obviously out of reach.

I enjoyed watching them slowly get up and drag their stunned miserable looking faces out of the stadium!

Guy was a few rows behind me and I can confirm some of the Aggie faithful were asking for pics with him. There was only one Aggie jackass in the section and it was pretty obvious he had only been drunk a handful of times in his life.

Game starts and dude starts yelling while aTm were on Def, just like LSU fans do when we are on def. However, he was the only person doing it in the entire section. We surely thought Visor Guy was going to die down during the game, but no, he's one consistent Mfer. Even when they were losing he still stood up and waived his white towel and yelled every down.

I actually respected him a little bit after finding out who he was.

Was this the same guy that walked by about 2 rows down from us and was bumping in to everyone and falling over. Then only to find out, he was a good 15 rows off. Not joking.

Visor Guy article

quote:

When students think of Kyle Field on a Saturday in the fall, there are many images that resonate: The Twelfth Man, a sea of maroon, the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, the Corps Block, The War Hymn and Visor Guy.

At section 426, row two, seat 10 in the Zone sits one of the more recognizable entities at Kyle Field, Visor Guy. Look to the northeast, and you're sure to see him and his Twelfth Man towel in full force. His pounding of the stands elicits thousands of "Whoops." And, his constant clamoring for noise from a student section has created a cult-like following.

To everybody in the student section, he is and will always be known as Visor Guy. But, behind the visor is a family man by the name of Kevin Holley.
