Let's assume Winston is charged next week, and FSU and OSU both win out. FSU will have the advantage in the computer rankings. Do you think enough Harris and Coaches poll voters would change their vote to allow OSU to jump FSU?

Would style points these next 2 games be a big factor? Do they just throw out what FSU has accomplished up to this point?

Furthermore, is there pressure to make a decision on whether or not to charge before the BCS selection show?

ETA: This assumes Winston is suspended if charged, even though FSU policy may still allow him to play.

No. This isn't a moral battle, it's football.

All I know is why is Jimbo Fisher getting a pass on this. Miles would be getting hammered right now by the likes of Dodd and all the other writers out there. I know it's innocent until proven guilty but Guilbeau would be having a field day with this one.

That doesnt have much to do with it. If he is charged he cant play, and FSU isnt the second best team in the county with a third string QB.

Winston hasn't been charged with anything yet

Than line up the one loss teams as well because they would be better than an undefeated FSU without Winston and Coker. Had Coker been healthy I still would have FSU #2 with a Winston suspension.

So what if A.J. McCarron breaks his leg in the SEC Championship Game?

Does that give the voters the right to drop them to #3 because they can't win the national championship game they EARNED THE RIGHT to be in?

I tend to agree.. but the talking heads have brought this up and I am wondering if it is actually possible.

I have a strong monetary interest in FSU making it to the title game.

That's not the question. OP ax'd if he does get charged do the voters (who have the obligation to rank the best teams in college football, not rank teams by their emotions towards them) jump OSU over FSU.

Anyway, reports are saying he won't be automatically suspended. Guilty until proven innocent. LINK

There's wording at the end of the FSU policy that even if he is charged, he might still be able to play

They would technically be on their 4th string QB. Trickett was their 3rd string before he transferred.
