Will we possibly see changes to the XBone's new party chat system?

I have loved the XBone so far but the newly redesigned party chat is not a good thing. I still don't fully understand it and I even read the devs' blog on how it worked and the new features it brought to the table, but I was even more confused after reading the blog.
The old party chat was perfectly fine and I wonder if they were just trying too hard to make a next-gen party chat type experience. I hope we see it simplified soon because I don't like being forced in to party members' games and sometimes just getting my friends all into the same party and being able to talk is not smooth.
Am I missing something obvious? I know about turning party chat on after joining a party, I just don't understand what they are trying to do with this new chat system.

What's the issue with it? What did they change?
I think the only thing wrong with 360 party chat is the 8 person limit. I wouldn't see any reason to change anything other than that

The main problems I have encountered are force matching. My brother and his friend were on NBA2K last night and it suddenly joined them into a game lobby before they were ready to join up. We were all plating BF4 on TDM but one of our party members does not like TDM so he played other game modes. Well, every time he changed to a new server or game mode it would alert every other party member that you could join him. The notification box was huge and it would pop up constantly while we were in game and it was the biggest annoyance.

I've heard other people have similar complaints about it. Gotta figure they will change it at some point.

Since there is no pop up dash function like on 360, I guess they had to do something. I think it's pretty awful compared to the 360 party chat function.

I have been having issues when trying to have westlake get in the party. It gives some error message that it was unable to turn on party chat.

I mean this was the original 360 dashboard so I am assuming things will change over time.

Everyone will get used to it, we had several years to figure out the best way to use the 360. It's just an adjustment period.

Some of this has nothing to do with adjusting of getting used to something, it needs to be fixed. There is no getting used to huge notifications popping up in the dead center of your screen while you are in a match or getting forced to join with a party member when you have no intention of joining.
There is definately stuff with the XBone that requires a learning curve but there are also issues like I've mentioned that need to be fixed.

Just saw this topic brought up on Reddit. This whole new chat system is a huge mess, but what is great is that Major Nelson showed up in the thread and said that he was relaying all this info to the proper people. It is great when someone in the higher ups makes themselves reachable. I think we could see improvement shortly and props to Major Nelson and Microsoft for listening.

I've been having that same issue with one of my friends, I think it's the new "Cannot connect to party"

Mine won't turn on party chat sometimes, just tried to load it then says can't connect to chat.
