RG3, and the radio just said how JM grew up an LSU fan, but didn't show him munch interest in recruiting.

How would JFF have helped our defense?

LSU fans would have freaked the frick out if LSU had offered JFF for QB out of HS.

Do you really think JM would have been a Heisman winner in LSU's offense? At A&M he's a great player in a wide open offense that fits him perfectly. At LSU he would have been a square peg in a round hole.

In Miles's whole tenure, he has yet to recruit a QB out of high school that has proven to be worth a damn. NOT ONE. I hope CC sticks around and changes that trend.

Miles was looking for another JJ so JM wasn't that guy.

I couldn't care less wether or not he would've won the Heisman at LSU. I'm just pointing out the talent LSU has missed on the last few years. LSU would have no doubt won the NC with RG3 in 11, and if JM was on the team last year they also might have won.

wrong...Miles has recruited just about every top qb prospect in the country. problem is they were all OOS and the one quality Louisiana kid he did get was a trainwreck waiting to happen. hopefully, BH will reverse that trend.

Just because someone on the radio said it doesn't make it true. Manziel was a Texas fan.

And only two coaches didn't miss on him as a QB, Chip Kelly and Mike Sherman.

JM is the one who said he was an LSU fan. He went on and on about how great Tiger Stadium was, and how he's always wanted to play there.

RG3 would have been a backup wide receiver here. Anyone disagree with that?

No. He always wanted to play at Texas.

And like I said, LSU fans would have lost their shite if Miles had signed Manziel out of HS as a QB.

It is easy to judge based off hindsight.

He's blowing smoke because it's LSU game week. Unless he somehow always wanted to play at both Texas and LSU.

I disagree that he'd have been a backup. He would have been a helluva deep threat.
