Who are the legit 6th men of the year?

Reke will play his way into this discussion. He has a shot at the hardware.

I. Thomas from the Kings has been having a huge year, but I don't know if he'll keep it up..

Evans should be starting at SF. He is so much better than Aminu that it's sad.

Actually he is averaging 10ppg, and in the last 5 games he's averaged 15.4pts, 4.2ast, 4.8reb. If he keeps that pace up, I think he'll be a contender for sixth man.

I don't know about everyone, I was never that down on Tyreke. I had been down on Holiday because of poor shot selection, but he's been better about that.

If Tyreke is getting twice as many minutes as Aminu , does it matter who starts? Tyreke is in the game when it matters.

Reke will be on the court at the end of the game.

Basketball is a sport that needs role players.. You can't have three guys, on the court, that need the ball in their hands to be successful.

Rivers, Reke, and Anderson will be an amazing 2nd team.. that will light it up and give our starters rest.

I say change not a thing. Absolutely love the way this team is built, outside of have a legit 5

Yeah, I think it matters, to the players at least. If it didn't matter, then why do all the good players in the NBA start? Why don't more teams bring their 2nd or 3rd best players off the bench?

How atrocious would the second unit be if Tyreke and Anderson started?

Smith Amundson Aminu Morrow Rivers

They would never hold a lead

Do the San Antonio Spurs sound familiar?

Tyreke came here knowing he was going to be our 6th man, and spark plug off the bench

Gordon, Evans and Holiday are all ball dominant guards, that need the ball in their hands.

Tyreke will be much more effective running with the second unit. Morrow, Smith and Anderson will keep the lane free for Rivers and Evans to drive to the basket.. which is what they're good at.

If we're winning and reke is getting his numbers and his minutes I doubt he gives a shite really. Hey at least he's not on the Kings

Do you really believe this? Evans came here because we offered him the most money. No GM offers a "6th" man 10M+ a year. That's a top 50 player contract. Maybe that's the role he has been placed in so far. But that couldn't have been the plan.

The New Orleans Pelicans plan to use newly acquired swingman Tyreke Evans off the bench.

Pelicans coach Monty Williams revealed his plan Monday, the day before the team began training camp.

"We talked to [Evans] about that this summer, and it wasn't an issue for him," Williams said, according to the Times-Picayune. "I don't think guys worry about [being in the starting lineup] anymore. I think they are more concerned with the minutes -- if the minutes are still where they could be."
